Welcome to the Whitney Point United Methodist Church. Our church family is a Christian community seeking to grow in our understanding of God's will for our lives. We do this through worship and prayer, spiritual growth, and service to our community and the world. As United Methodist Christians we are committed to our historic emphases on personal piety (spiritual growth) and Christian service. For over 250 years, the people called Methodists have visited in prisons, built schools, medical clinics, nursing homes, and hospitals, and taken a leading role in addressing the social problems of the day from slavery and alcohol abuse to feeding the hungry and responding to natural disasters.
