West Side Baptist Church

I was raised in Westside Baptist Church. My parents were Earl & Nita Smith. The first time in church I was 3 weeks old. They adopted me and church was my first outing with them. I was surprised and saddened to see that the buildings I loved as a child are no long Westside. I have so many fond memories of running up and down the stairs in the old part of the church. Pastors I remember are Bro. Bacchus, Bro. Callout, and Bro. Billy Burke. Wish I knew if any of the people I grew up with are still members where every the church is located now. That was in the years 1952-1967. I got married at 14 and moved to Louisiana in 1967.
