Who We Are

We are a holiness congregation. We have a traditional style of worship service of Hymns and Worship songs, incorporating piano and organ and other musical instruments. We continually strive to create unity in our church family. The sermon delivered by Pastor Paul Underhay is bound to make you smile at least once and will surely make you think about your relationship with Jesus Christ. The thought provoking, bible-based preaching will lead you into a week with a God-centered heart.

Our Services

What are services like?
Sunday morning we have a traditional style of worship service of Hymns and Worship songs, incorporating piano and organ and other musical instruments, using multimedia to enhance the worship experience. Every Sunday we have a time for greeting each other whether to make a new acquaintance or to hug a good friend. We continually strive to create unity in our church family and always have time for prayer. The sermon delivered by Pastor Paul Underhay is bound to make you smile at least once and will surely make you think about your relationship with Jesus Christ. The thought provoking, bible-based preaching will lead you into a week with a God-centered heart. We provide sermon notes in the bulletin for your use during the sermon and throughout the week for deeper reflection. Sunday evening is a time of praise singing the traditional hymns from the hymnal followed by the message. Wednesday evening is a time of studying the Word together and taking time to pray for the needs of the church, community at large, our nation, and the world. Any of our services readily welcomes guests. You will also see a variety of attire, from blue jeans to coats and ties. Our doors are open to everyone!

What is the community like?
But we are more than the sum total of the elements of the service. You will find a group of people who love and desire to serve the Lord. You will be welcomed in like you have always belonged. You will experience the warmth and love that they have for each other and for each person who walks through those doors. It truly is a family of God.

What if I'm not a Christian?
All are welcome!

Rev. Paul Underhay
Senior Pastor

Pastor Paul is a very caring person. He enjoys meeting new people and quickly puts them at ease. He always has time to listen. He feels blessed to be pastoring this wonderful body of believers. Pastor Paul, originally from St. John’s, Newfoundland, accepted the Lord as a teenager, and answered God’s call to the pastoral ministry. He graduated from Canadian Nazarene College in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, with a Bachelor of Theology and a Bachelor of Arts and was ordained in the Church of the Nazarene. He has pastored in the Church of the Nazarene in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and in Moncton, New Brunswick before coming to Florida in 1998. Paul accepted a call as Chaplain to St. Andrew’s Estates Retirement Community in Boca Raton. He then was Associate Pastor at Lake Worth Church of the Nazarene before coming to West Palm Beach Church of the Nazarene in 2015.

  • I was a member of this church 55 years ago as a 15 year old teenager who had lost her dad. The people were extremely considerate to my mother and I. I would like some information about church records. I am trying to recall what the date of salvation was for me then and that period of life was very difficult so have lost some of the memories. Could you tell me if the records from 1964 are still there? Linda Gilliam and email me at [email protected] if you have any info. Thank you and God Bless
