Rev. Matthew Hass
Lead Pastor
Pastor Matt was installed at the Pastor of Village Lutheran Church on August 12th 2018. He has a heart for family ministry along with missions. Prior to his call at Village, he served with churches throughout Bergen County as a missionary-at-large and as a Director of Christian Outreach. He is currently continuing his education in the GPC program through Concordia Seminary in Saint Louis. In 2008, he was sent to be a missionary in Japan through the Globally Engaged in Outreach program through LCMS World Mission. There he met is wife Becky who also served in that program as well. Pastor Matt and Becky have two young daughters along with two crazy dogs. He enjoys playing guitar, fishing and cooking as personal hobbies. As a family, he loves exploring new places, kayaking, and going to the beach
