What to Expect

What if I'm not a Christian?
Life is short and eternity is long, so come see us and we'd be glad to show you what the Bible says about how YOU can begin a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ TODAY! We are all going to spend eternity somewhere! Make sure you are on the right side of the chasm. If you were thinking you'll be okay because you're "pretty good" you had better check again, because the Bible is clear that there's nothing you can DO to earn eternal life with God in heaven! Nothing!

Leadership

Dave Prahst

Dave Prahst

Pastor Dave Prahst came to us in April 2004 from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he had lived for 15 years working as a pilot for US Airways, and serving with the Pennsylvania Air National Guard. Originally from the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio, he was attending the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado when he met his wife, Cindy, in 1978. He received a clear call from God to be a CMA (Christian and Missionary Alliance) pastor while deployed in the Middle East for Operation Desert Storm in 1991. He completed the CMA Ministerial Study Program in 2003 and was ordained in September, 2007. Pastor Dave is committed first to an intimate relationship with God through Jesus Christ. He also has a burden for reaching spiritually lost men, women, young people, and children with the good news of salvation and freedom in Jesus Christ. He has a heart for building healthy marriages and families, and for discipling men in the Christian faith. He also has a passion for building the Church of Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God in the Mohawk River Valley through the power of the Holy Spirit. Pastor Dave and Cindy have been married since 1983 and have been blessed with eight children.
