Our services are grounded in the authority of Scripture, centered on salvation by grace through faith, and proclaim the sovereignty of God over all of life. Worship reflects a deep commitment to faithful biblical teaching, historic creeds, heartfelt prayer, and a Christ-centered life of discipleship. We practice Blended Worship, joyfully combining the richness of traditional hymns with the vibrancy of contemporary songs. Our services thoughtfully weave together diverse musical styles and elements of historic liturgy, creating a meaningful, Spirit-led worship experience that welcomes all generations into the presence of God. Jim Peck

Meet Pastor Jim Peck In October 2024, Pastor Jim Peck was called to serve as the Senior Pastor of Sharon Reformed Church. He is an ordained minister of the Gospel through the Alliance of Reformed Churches, bringing a heart for pastoral care, biblical preaching, and gospel-centered community outreach. Before his call to Sharon Springs, Pastor Jim served at the Reformed Church of Canajoharie, first as a Deacon (2016–2019), then as an Elder (2019–2022), and finally as Associate Pastor from March 2022 to April 2024. His leadership and commitment to Christ’s mission were evident throughout his time there. In September 2017, Pastor Jim helped launch The Berean Bean, a unique third-space ministry in Canajoharie, NY — a church-run coffee shop that continues to serve as a welcoming outreach hub for the local community. Pastor Jim has a gift for apostolic ministry, often pioneering new expressions of church and mission to reach people where they are. Pastor Jim also brings a wealth of life experience to his ministry. Raised on a farm in Upstate New York, he developed a strong work ethic and deep appreciation for rural life. He is a proud veteran, having served in both the United States Marine Corps and the New York Army National Guard, retiring from military service in May 2021. Today, in addition to his pastoral role, Pastor Jim operates Jim Peck Farms LLC, a small family-run beef and hay farm. He and his wife Karlene have been married for 14 years and are the proud parents of two children — Hailey (13) and Easton (10). With a shepherd’s heart, a servant’s hands, and a vision for God’s Kingdom, Pastor Jim is honored to lead Sharon Reformed Church into its next chapter of gospel-centered ministry and mission.
