What to Expect

What are services like?
Services at Urbancrest include prayer, Scripture, musical worship and Biblical teaching.

What is the community like?
We are a blended group of worshipers. Most ages and ethnic groups are represented. A majority of our families are involved in missions and small group Bible studies throughout the year.

What if I'm not a Christian?
You are welcome! In John 1:46, Philip said to Nathaniel, "Come and see," when he spoke of Jesus. So, come and see what God has in store for you!

Leadership

Tom Pendergrass

Tom has been married to his wife Donna for 35 years. They have two grown daughters, Jessica and Vanessa, two sons-in-law, Mike and Ron (Bubba), and are the proud grandparents of Lexi, Landon, Alianna, Carson, Emma and Rylan. Besides spending time with his family, Tom enjoys golf and travel. Tom’s passion for sharing the Gospel and discipling believers is reflected in the way Urbancrest has grown from an average attendance of 100 in 1994 to over 900 each week with over 1000 baptisms since Tom & Donna answered the call to Urbancrest in 1994. Tom is a graduate of Trinity Evangelical College & Seminary, the Moody Bible Institute, Liberty University with a background in youth ministry, food service management and industrial production management.
