Unity Baptist Church

About Us
We are a Bible based ministry and we are a loving ministry. You cannot escape from the hugs.
We are active in outreach ministry as we lead a city-wide street ministry called The Jericho Project. It's comprised of believers from many different churches and denominations who work together for the Lord's glory. We set up events in the highest crime areas of our city having preceded each event with a time of prayer walking.
We are also involved in a committee organized by the mayor's office where pastors have been invited to work with the mayor and city officials in doing our part to make this city a safer place to live.
We are a bilingual ministry that provides interpretation for some elderly Hispanics who have joined our church.
We may be a small church but we serve a big God who has guided us through some amazing experiences over the 17 years we have existed. We look forward to seeing all that the Lord has in store for our future. You are welcome to come and join us on our journey.
God bless you,
Pastor Rafael Cruz Jr.

Leadership
Rafael Cruz Jr.
I am blessed to be a pastor in the city where I was born and raised - Youngstown, Ohio. The Lord led me to start Unity Baptist Church in 1995. Since our inception we have been involved in jail ministry, a feeding ministry, citywide crusades, The Jericho Project Street Ministry and CIRV, which is a partnership with the mayor's office to reduce violence in Youngstown.Location & Directions
