Leadership
Dwight Welch
Rev. Welch is ordained in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) with standing in the Kansas Oklahoma Conference of the United Church of Christ. His M.Div. degree is from Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, IN. He also holds an M.A. in philosophy from Southern Illinois University and an M.A. in theology and religion from United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities. He comes to us from Lawrence, KS where he served as campus pastor at Ecumenical Campus Ministries Previously he has served as pastor at First Congregational Church UCC in Sheridan, WY, as a youth pastor at First Christian Church in Sheridan, IN, and also has six years experience as a college instructor in philosophy. He is a blogger and writes on progressive theology and culture. He is engaged to Jim who are the proud parents of two cats, Anni and Adler. On the side he plays clarinet in musical ensembles.
