Our core values
• Live and work for social justice
• Be radically inclusive
• Be a faithful community
• Be followers of Jesus

What to Expect

What are services like?
9:45 has shared food and discussion over a religious topic. Some of these are led by church members, by outside speakers, or the pastor and the discussions and debates are lively. 11am is our worship service. We sing traditional hymns and follow a mainline liturgy but we also incorporate elements from other religious traditions as well.

What is the community like?
We're small. We may have 20 to 30 in worship. Our age range is from toddler to 80 and a wide range in between. Many are connected to the University of Oklahoma since our church is across the street from campus. Many are committed to a range of progressive causes and groups so our connections are wide for a small church. All our proud of our welcome of LGBT people and value open discussions and ideas.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We are a non creedal community, that is we have no doctrinal requirements to join. Rather we welcome all people in service, in wrestling with the big ideas of life, in worship in a shared community. Some come for our speakers series where we bring top community activists and theologians to the area. Some visit our worship and our adult ed. Others participate in our student ministry, the United Campus Ministry.
