What are services like?
Our Traditional Worship Service in our historic sanctuary is a multi-generational experience. We are down-to-earth people who like feeling the connection to our history by singing traditional hymns and hearing good, relatable Bible-based preaching. Don't think that we're stuck in our ways, though! We are focused on developing new ministries and reaching out to help our community in new ways. We welcome the new while honoring what came before.

What is the community like?
At Trinity UMC you will find an active community of people from all ages and backgrounds and a variety of opportunities to connect with God, form friendships, and serve in our area. Our PALS, Children, Youth, and Young Adult ministries are active and growing. There are many small groups and Sunday School classes for all age groups including an Art Class, Choir, Book Club, LRE (Loving, Relating and Encouraging Others), weekly Prayer Breakfast, United Women in Faith (formerly UMW) Circle of Friends and many more.

What if I'm not a Christian?
You don't have to already know Jesus when you come to Trinity UMC Rome. We'll be happy to talk with you about God, the Bible, and Christian life if you wish. We'll try to answer any questions you ask. If you're not comfortable speaking to someone directly, please reach out to us online!
