Our Services

What are services like?
Pastors Alex and Kate lead worship (every Sunday regardless of weather) with musical offerings from our choir and/or handbells. Dress ranges from Sunday best to casual. A nursery for young children is available immediately inside the front doors, although they are always welcome in worship. We gather in the sanctuary; we invite God’s presence; we confess our very humanness; we revel in God’s grace; we sing God’s praises with traditional to contemporary music and lots in between; we listen to and preach God’s Word with passion, creativity and relevance; and we pray for our loved ones and for the world. With God’s blessing in our benediction, we’re sent forth to serve others. All that we do in worship is integrated around God’s Word to us in scripture. Communion is celebrated monthly and the baptismal font is always filled and ready.

What is the community like?
From children to retirees, we gather together to nurture each other in our faith journeys. We laugh together, cry together, eat and drink together, work out together, study the Word together, and listen for God's will for our communal life.

What if I'm not a Christian?
That's okay - we are all on the journey together with Christ. Come and learn alongside us what it means to be a Christian in Topeka in 2013.
