About Us
We worship and serve God together as a community of believers. We support one another’s values and beliefs. We nurture the faith of God's people in a variety of ways, including adult and children education programs, missionary projects, outreach programs, prayer and visitation ministries. Organized from a mission in 1868, The St. John AME Church has been worshipping through 2 turns of the century at the corner of 7th and Topeka Boulevard since 1886.
