Trinity Lutheran Church is an active body of believers gathered together from multiple generations from across the country. We are very seasonal with attendance ranging in the summer from under 100 to 250 plus during the Months of January, February, March and April. We have an Early Childhood Developmental Center for children ages 3-5. We have weekly Bible Studies and a few small group studies. Additionally we try to offer a variety of activities for our members, associates and winter residents to participate.

What to Expect

What are services like?
On the first and third Sundays we have traditional services where the Pastor chants and the choir sings. During this services we also offer Holy Communion where be believe, teach and confess that in, with and under the elements of the bread and wine is truly present the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. On the second, fourth and fifth Sundays we have what can be best described as a "blended worship style". Pastor wears a suit and tie as opposed to a robe and vestments and we have a "Praise Team" that assists in leading the worship service.

What is the community like?
The community of Lake Placid demonstrates a small town atmosphere and a culturally diverse but agriculturally anchored.

What if I'm not a Christian?
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is for all people. The Gospel message is the creating force behind faith in Jesus Christ. Without hearing the proper distinction between the Law and Gospel you will continue to be a non-Christian, but it is God's desire that all men and women come to faith in Him and His Son Jesus Christ. Believer and unbelievers are welcomed to come and share in our worship services.
