The Journey-Brooklyn

A Nondenominational church in Brooklyn, NY

Who We Are

About Us On Easter Sunday of 2002 a handful of people gathered in two Manhattan campuses as The Journey began weekly services for the first time. From the very beginning, The Journey was one church that met in two campuses - on the Upper West Side on Sunday mornings and in the East Village on Sunday evenings. From there, The Journey has steadily grown in numbers and ministries (just check out the number of people we have in Growth Groups and serving in our community). Over the years we have met in comedy clubs, church basements, off-Broadway theaters, public schools, hotel ballrooms and even in larger concert venues (like The Manhattan Center’s Grand Ballroom). When you visit The Journey you can expect to be welcomed warmly, to hear lively music and to find the teachings relevant to your life. We hope you take the opportunity to visit us on a Sunday in the near future to experience The Journey for yourself. (from the church website: brooklyn. journeymetro. com/)

What is FaithStreet?

We build communities of faithful giving with our online giving tools. Givers can set-up recurring or one-time donations to a church in service, at home, or on the go. Leaders can create shareable campaigns to reach and inspire new givers. Encourage goal setting and see people rise to their own standard of generosity. Begin to give differently.

We bring as many of the churches we can find together in a free directory of over 300,000 churches. It can be hard to find a community of faith when you're new in town or (re)discovering your faith. Even if a church has a website, it may still be hard to uncover. Find community, find meaning.
