What to Expect

What are services like?
Stapleton Church meets in a remodeled airplane hangar, Hangar 61. Once you walk in, you will be welcomed. If you have kids, check in to the Children’s Ministry to the left. Complimentary coffee and refreshments are available in our cafe. Then, enter the auditorium (called the Lift) where we hold our services. Each service lasts about one hour and 15 minutes. It includes contemporary music to connect you with God and an engaging message from the Bible. Dress is casual. Everyone is welcome.

What is the community like?
No one should follow Jesus alone; we all need community. Our community is made up of those at many different points on their spiritual journey. We are diverse and have young families, college students and a growing number of empty nesters. Stapleton Church also has a thriving Community Group Ministry to help you develop the relationships you need. These groups offer people a way to connect with others, grow in their understanding of God and live out their faith.

What if I'm not a Christian?
No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, you are welcome. For those new to faith or unsure about what they believe, simply come and see.

Matt started as our Lead Pastor on Easter Sunday 2017. He is thrilled to have the opportunity to lead Stapleton Church, preach God's Word and help people follow Jesus. He, his wife Melissa and daughter McKinley moved to Denver from Nebraska, where Matt served as a pastor. Matt grew up in Colorado Springs, and Melissa in Moab, Utah. They met at Colorado State University, where they both received their bachelor's degrees. Matt also holds a Master of Divinity from Denver Seminary and is currently working on a Doctor of Ministry from Talbot School of Theology.
