Leadership
The Rev. Alexander Vallens
Rector and priest
Father Alexander Vallens is a Colorado native, and earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado-Boulder in a tech-related field. He went on to graduate from St. Tikhon's Orthodox Theological Seminary in 2005 with a Master's degree in Divinity. He has been the rector and priest of St. Tikhon Orthodox Christian Mission since it first started (in December 2012). Besides his priestly duties at St. Tikhon Mission, he also works in the tech industry, is married and the father of two children, and enjoys the Colorado outdoors.
