Leadership
Fletcher Wells
Growing up in Virginia, Fletcher graduated from James Madison University with a B.S. in Chemistry in 2003. After college he moved to Boston to take part in a national internship for the Episcopal Church working in areas of social justice in an urban setting. Fletcher worked with Ecclesia Ministries helping the unhoused in of the city of Boston. Fletcher then went to seminary and graduated with his M.Div. from Virginia Theological Seminary in 2007. Fletcher served St. George's Episcopal Church in Fredericksburg, Virginia after seminary where he was in charge of their youth program and their outreach programs. He was called to St. James Parish in Wilmington, NC as the assistant rector and served as the priest in charge of young adults and pastoral care. In 2012 Fletcher was called to St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Chesapeake, Virginia. He is the rector of this fine church and understand this parish to be radically welcoming, loving and committed to ministry to the youth and all people of all ages in the congregation. He hopes to learn much from this community of love and invites you to come and experience the love and welcome of this community.Location & Directions
