After graduating college, I had a distinguished career as an Executive with the Boy Scouts of America, serving Councils in Springfield, IL, Decatur, IL, South Bend Indiana, and Indianapolis, IN. I retired from the BSA in 1992. After a few years of various Jobs, I founded Computer Services and Computer Parts Wholesale. I lived in Richmond, IN, a community that is rich in history and cultural attractions from May of 1989 until moving to Nebraska in July of 2020. I have a deep interest in the education of our children, their Moral and Ethical development, as well as equipping them with the leadership skills to manage our country's future. I retired from my computer business in the Summer of 2017 to follow a call for ministry in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
