Our Services

Service Times

Sunday
11:00am
We have a relaxed “come as you are” congregation with both traditional and some contemporary music. Whether you are wearing your Sunday best or your comfortable clothes you will fit in with our community. Some will wear a suit and others will be wearing a T-shirt and jeans.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Services are less than an hour. The music is a mix of traditional Hymns using The United Methodist Hymnal and The Faith We Sing. There is a mix of contemporary music introduced with the new Pastor in 2024. The Pastor's messages are focused on Wesleyan (Methodist) Theology, and he has a storytelling style. Most sermons are in a Sermon Series, but each message provides its own theme. Services are recorded, and there are plans to have the Livestreaming launch by 2026.

What is the community like?
The congregation is a mix of your grandparents, the sandwich generation, and youth. The church is like a family who care for one another and those in need in our community. St. Mark's has three missional focus areas: 1. Seniors at-risk 2. Children at-risk 3. Adults & Children with Special Needs at-risk

What if I'm not a Christian?
You will be welcome here. We have people who come from all backgrounds and faith experiences. Our Pastor grew up in an unchurched home. His story and background provide a safe space for anyone, wherever you are on your journey. Take a look at "what we believe" using this link: https://stmarksmanassas.org/about/our-beliefs The Pastor is always open to meeting to discuss further. [email protected]
