About Us

"Together we welcome, worship, witness, and work in the name of Christ."

We are a welcoming congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), its North Carolina Synod, and of the Lumberton, NC community.

ALL ARE WELCOME to join us in worship of Christ, our Lord and Savior, and to be a part of our family where together we welcome, worship, witness, and work in the Name of Christ.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Services follow a traditional liturgy with chanting, hymns, and other music that covers a wide range of styles. The service is printed out in the bulletin to make it easy to follow. Hymns are from one of the 3 different hymnals we use. No dress code, come as you are. After service, join us for fellowship & coffee in the Parish Hall.

What is the community like?
We may be small, but we are vibrant in our faith. Not merely a "congregation" but a "family" made up of many different people. We are a community living God's grace, love, mercy, forgiveness, kindness, and gentleness that has a place for you. ALL ARE WELCOME. We are a church that shares a living, daring confidence in God's grace. Liberated by our faith, we welcome and embrace you as a whole person—questions, complexities, and all. We invite you to join us as together we welcome, worship, witness, and work in the Name of Christ for the life of the world. God's work. Our Hands.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Come! Learn who Christ is and why we follow him and his teachings.
