St John's Lutheran Church

St. John's could be described as a diaconal church which is deeply grounded in serving the surrounding community. St. John's continues to serve a wide variety of the Dubuque population through the Almost Home program. This service to others consists of two types of outreach. The Open Closet which provides free clothing to those in poverty as well as the Guest House which is an overflow location for the Dubuque Rescue Mission and houses men who are homeless.
