St John Lutheran Church
Who We Are
Community, Traditional, Liturgical, Multigenerational, Casual
St. John's has been serving the community of Juneau County since 1907. This church has a lot of history as they have experienced tornados and fires. Yet, they have stood the test of time and continue to faithfully worship together every weekend for over 100 years as they use the historic liturgy of the church. When you worship with us, you will experience the faith of believers in the past as we continue to use traditional worship settings and songs that are brought into the present by the participation of the believers of today.

Jacob Limpert
Lead Pastor
Jacob received his B.A. from Martin Luther College in May of 2016 and went on to receive his M.Div from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary on May 21, 2020 and was assigned to serve at St. Paul's in Wonewoc. He was ordained and installed as pastor at St. Paul's on July 12, 2020. He has been blessed to also serve in St. John's in Kendall Wisconsin, as he graciously accepted to fill the pastoral vacancy as the church continues to look for a full-time pastor. He looks forward to seeing how God will continue to bless the people of our communities through our continuing gospel work.
