What to Expect

What are services like?
On Sundays, we worship together at 8:15 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. Our 8:15 service is quiet and solemn, there is no music, and the service of Holy Eucharist is very traditional. Our 10:15 service is more contemporary, with music and nursery care for the youngest children. On the first and third Sundays we offer the Ministry of Healing to those who so desire immediately following Communion, in both services. In addition, we have a Contemplative Prayer service on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. in our chapel.

What is the community like?
St. Dunstan's is a lively community of Christians actively seeking God and striving to be agents for His love in the world.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We encourage you to join us for worship and fellowship. Our worship comes from the Book of Common Prayer (BCP). The BCP contains all the standard spoken information of a service including prayers, responses, and the words of consecration. The BCP permits all attending the service, even those not familiar with the Episcopal liturgy, to follow along and participate in the service. The order of the service is always the same with readings from the Bible followed by the sermon, the prayers and then the Eucharist, which is also called Holy Communion.
