About Us
As the only Anglo-Catholic Parish in the Episcopal Diocese of Southern Virginia, St. Bride's seeks to worship Almighty God in the 'beauty of holiness', while joyfully adhering to the Catholic Faith. We are a traditional Anglican parish, family sized, and love meeting new people. We are located in the Indian River section of Chesapeake, at the city lines of Virginia Beach, Norfolk and Chesapeake.

Saint Brides Church has always been a harbor of peace in my life, and I returned to her after many years of separation. I envision Saint Brides as the rudder of a huge Episcopalian ship (US registry). She provides guidance and vision for the larger ship which from time to time has seen torrid waters. Saint Brides has remained the same; one of three branches of the Orthodox faith, grounded in tradition, historic, faithful, bright in beauty, true to course with its tiny rudder.
