What to Expect

What are services like?
Our services follow a Lutheran liturgical tradition. Our 8:30 am service uses the traditional Lutheran Book of Worship. Our 10:45 am service draws from a variety of music resources and would be considered a "blended" service, not truly contemporary, but more upbeat that the earlier service. Holy Communion is offered every Sunday at both services and begins from the back of the church, moving forward, so first time visitors are encouraged to sit in the middle or front. A brief children's gathering with the Pastor is held just before the Sermon, during the service. The choir sings alternately at the early or late service, and we sometimes have a presentation by our hand bell choir.

What is the community like?
We are casual and friendly, come as you are comfortable. Where you are going is more important than where you have been. People wear everything from suits to jeans and sneakers, We are inter-generational and take great joy in the ease with which our young and old alike participate in ministry. If you are seeking a deeper relationship with God, and His Son, Jesus Christ, you are welcome here.

What if I'm not a Christian?
You are welcome here. We encourage you to join us in worship and ministry to see what we are all about and understand what we believe as Lutheran Christians. Understanding builds bridges between faiths and we welcome anyone who seeks to understand the awesome and wondrous majesty of God and our relationship with Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
