About Us

Sublime worship; caring community; children; inclusive; faith AND reason.

We are located in a beautiful gem of a building on the east side of the UCLA campus. Our worship of God is a blend of traditional and contemporary, featuring an outstanding choir, organ music, and the use of other instruments like the conga drum. The community is diverse and inclusive and our children's ministry is growing, due to new families joining us. Students, faculty and staff from UCLA are a strong presence.

Our mission is to be centered in the Spirit of Christ and to live out that Spirit in our lives.

We have a small parking lot, but there is Sunday street parking on Westholme Ave.

Leadership

Susan Klein

Susan Klein

Susan came to St. Alban's in 2004 after serving churches in Malibu, Irvine, and St. Louis, Missouri. She has also served as a college chaplain. Her gifts are in teaching, pastoral care, preaching, and congregational development. She loves all kinds of parish events involving celebration. She takes time to craft sermons that meet the pastoral and faith needs of the congregation. She thinks the church today is riding a wave of societal indifference, but if they only knew how beautiful it was to be a part of a vibrant, progressive, inclusive community of faith, that would change!

Some years ago, my late wife was at the UCLA medical center and St Alban’s and Rev Kline were a great source of comfort to me during a most difficult time.
