St. Afrem Syriac Orthodox Church is a parish full of traditions, love and faith! Our humble community is very close knit and always ready to welcome those who want to experience a relationship with God.

We meet for Prayer and Fellowship each Sunday at 2:00pm, and have a ray of activities for all to enjoy. Our monthly Bible Study is sure to engage your spiritual senses as well as our Luncheons, parties and picnics!

What to Expect

What are services like?
We are careful to preserve our rich religious traditions is our Mass. Our prayers are chanted in the original Syriac, and our hymns are those written by our forefathers such at St. Afrem and St. Jacob. Mass is 1 1/2 long, including prayers, sermon and communion.

What is the community like?
The community is like a family. We are very close with one another.

What if I'm not a Christian?
All are welcome to attend our Mass, although if they are not baptized, the may not partake in Holy Communion.
