Spring Valley Community Church

About Us

Helping people learn to follow Jesus.

Located in Royersford, PA, we are a church of regular people, learning how real faith in Jesus Christ can transform us and help us fulfill God's purpose for our lives. We definitely aren’t perfect but we hope through our time together that we can learn how to become more like Jesus. We learn about God and ourselves and how to become like Jesus through careful study and application of God’s word.

What to Expect

What are services like?
We understand that walking through the doors of a church for the first time can be overwhelming. We want you to know that we work hard to create environments so that you feel welcome. Our Connection Café opens @ 8:45am. We serve a complimentary continental breakfast before and after both services. It's normal for there to be people sitting at round tables getting to know one another. Our services begin at 9:00am and 10:45am. We start off the service with some inspiring music led by our worship band, all kids 3-12 are in service for the first few songs. For kids who are very small (0- Not Yet Potty Trained) our nursery opens 15 minutes before service begins. The kids are dismissed after the 3rd worship song. After the worship time we have a time of prayer, give a couple of announcements, have everyone fill out one of our connection cards, and receive an offering. Following this one of our pastors will preach a sermon. At Spring Valley we teach on a topic or a book of the bible for several weeks. We believe that the Bible is God's word and teaches us who He is. After the sermon is over, our service ends. From beginning to end our service is approximately 75 minutes. After service our Connection Café re-opens and people normally stay around to have conversations. Our pastoral staff is available after service to talk and we are eager to serve you in anyway possible.

What is the community like?
At Spring Valley Community Church, we're just a regular group of people doing life together while learning to follow Jesus. We're a vibrant community of all types of people, from college students and young professionals to families and empty nesters. We hope that you'll feel welcome at SVCC, and that you'll make real connections with those around you.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Spring Valley is a church for people who want to connect with God but aren't quite sure if a traditional setting is for them. One thing that we try and do at Spring Valley is keep things simple. We plan our services with people who are exploring in mind. We have a very relaxed atmosphere, yet we are serious about knowing and loving Jesus. We are a people who are aware that we don't have it altogether and never pretend to. I hope that you would consider coming and checking out one of our services, we would love to have you. If you have more questions please feel free to contact us.
