Spirit & Life is a new, contemporary, multi-cultural church plant. Our mission is to help people just like you authentically encounter Jesus Christ through worship and praise on Sunday mornings, as well as through dozens of small group ministries all week long.

Sunday worship is at 10AM at Forest Park High School, 15721 Forest Park Drive, Woodbridge, VA 22193. It lasts about an hour. Nursery and Children's Ministry are available. Dress is very casual. Messages are Biblical and relevant. Tons of small group ministries available to grow deeper.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Refreshments available beforehand in the school cafeteria. Music begins at 10AM in the auditorium. Several great songs, video, prayer, announcements, Biblical and relevant message, and some more music! Communion on the first Sunday each month. Baptisms as scheduled. Other special events as scheduled

What is the community like?
An increasingly diverse group of people representing a wide range of ages and accurately reflecting our surrounding community.

What if I'm not a Christian?
You are still welcome to come check things out at your own pace in a very relaxed environment. WE DO NOT MAKE OUR VISITORS STAND UP AND BE INTRODUCED or anything like that. :) So fear not!

Leadership

Matt Meisenhelter

Lead Pastor, Matt Meisenhelter, is down-to-earth and welcoming, setting the tone for Spirit and Life. If you visit on a Sunday morning, you’ll usually find him greeting everyone as they come in the front doors. Friendly and approachable, Matt makes Spirit and Life feel like home. Matt is an ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church. A passionate Christian and dynamic speaker, Matt earned his Master of Divinity degree from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C. after completing his undergraduate work at Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. Matt is married to Sarah, a stay-at-home mom who serves with Bethany Christian Services as well as within the church’s small groups community. They have two adorable little boys, Max and Sammy.
