Who We Are

Southwood Lutheran is an ELCA Lutheran Church located on the far south edge of Lincoln. We offer a blended-style of worship on Sunday mornings at 8:30, 9:45 and 11:00 a.m. service times—all services are identical.

We are a young congregation with an average age of 31 years old. Our youth area is a vibrant part of our ministry.

Our Services

What are services like?
Southwood's worship style is an eclectic blend of traditional and contemporary music accompanied by lessons aimed at helping people live out God's purposes in their daily lives. On 1st and 3rd Sundays, we welcome all who are baptized and believe that Christ is present in the sacrament to join us in Holy Communion. Our average attendance for all three services is around 1,350. Depending on the service time, individual service attendance ranges from 300-600. Our busiest service is the 9:45 service.
