What are services like?
Enjoy being greeted as you enter through doors 1 or 2 into what we call our Great Hall. Our Great Hall leads to the center to the Worship Center where worship happens. In the Worship Center, you will find a service that is typically around an hour. Experience uplifting singing, moments of prayer, and a message that connects real life to scripture and ways that you can get involved right away. Experience excellent contemporary music, relevant preaching with a Biblical basis, time for prayer, sharing in the Lord’s Supper, celebrating baptism, and challenging ourselves to be the church beyond 70th and Old Cheney. We typically utilize a worship series theme that focuses on an aspect of living life at God’s people. Each weekend, our average worship attendance is nearly 1,000. Depending on the service time, individual service attendance can range from 200-600, with the 10:00am service being our most attended.

What is the community like?
Friendly and open. Navigating a new place can be daunting. But fear not! Just outside of the Worship Center, our friendly volunteers at the Welcome Center can show you around and answer any questions about ministry happenings. Sheridan Lutheran Church is an active church with many opportunities for all age groups, ranging from toddlers to senior citizens.
