Shawnee Park Christian Reformed Church

Who We Are

Welcome to Shawnee Park!

At Shawnee Park, we believe that the Lord is shaping us into a family that follows.

We seek to follow Jesus Christ and the example he set for us in his life and in his ministry. We do this by striving to follow Christ's commands to "love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind," and to, "Love your neighbor as yourself."
We seek to follow God's Word. We believe that the Bible is a way in which God revealed himself and his love to us through which we learn how to love God and our neighbor well.
We seek to follow the instructions that Jesus gave to his church, through his disciples to, "go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."
We seek to follow the Holy Spirit. God through his Spirit has gifted each person with specific gifts and passions. He then empowers us to be a bright light of hope shining into the darkness and pain that surrounds us in this life.

If you are looking for a church, for community, or for purpose in this life, come have a conversation with us. We would love the opportunity to get to know you.

Many blessings,
