Santa Clara First Baptist Church
Who We Are
Our church is a community of seekers and believers, encouraging each other as we seek to understand and follow the will of God for our individual and our corporate lives.
As a community of faith, we enjoy many opportunities to share together in small, medium, and large groups; to worship God, to study His Word, to seek His guidance in prayer, and to fellowship with other Christian brothers and sisters. We also see ourselves as a people commissioned by God to reach out to our world with the grace and gospel of our Lord Jesus. We seek to minister to the needs of our community and spread the good news that God has provided the way through His Son to enter into eternal life with Him.
Santa Clara First Baptist Church exists to carry out the Great Commission given to it by Jesus in Matthew 28:18-20:
"Then Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Specifically for us this means we are here to "evangelize and disciple the people of the Santa Clara Valley."
To fulfill this commission we pursue five objectives to create a church that is reaching it's full redemptive potential. These objectives are the following:
Magnify the name of the One who has been given all authority in our worship.
Minister in love to the needs of our Membership.
Enable each other to grow to Maturity in our personal relationship/commitment to Christ.
Equip each other to grow in our knowledge of personal giftedness to accomplish the Ministry of the church.
Impact the life of our local and wider communities in Mission for Christ.

Kristine FryIf you have served in the military, love your country, or hold any type of conservative values... this is not the church for you! As a former military service member a member of my family was attacked from the pulpit by a guest pastor (Claimed American Military Service members go out and kill/cage others, just because they are different). Rather than trying to make things right, Pastor Valui furthered the attack the following week by calling for forgiveness and unity without speaking to the false attack or denouncing the hatefulness! They have sold out! You see the pastors wife studies under this guest speaker, she wants a good grade.
