Saint Pauls Lutheran Church

About Us

A Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod Congregation

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

Welcome to St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Kingsville, Maryland, a member congregation of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. St. Paul's is a community of believers called to bear witness to what our heavenly Father has done for the world through His Son, Jesus Christ. By the power of the Holy Spirit, our church has been busy proclaiming this good news since the year 1850. We thank and praise our Triune God for more than 150 years of blessings and we trust in Him for His continued blessings in the future.

We would love to share God's gospel with you. Whether you're new to the Baltimore/Harford Counties area, planning a visit to this part of Maryland, or a long-time resident looking for a church home, we invite you in our Savior's name to worship with us at St. Paul's. We believe you'll find us to be a congregation whose worship life is firmly rooted in God's Holy Word and Sacraments, warm in Christian love and fellowship, and rich in the historic liturgy and hymnody of the church catholic. The Lord serves us through His means of grace every Sunday morning at 8:30 and 11:00. Please note that we practice closed communion in obedience to the clear teachings of Holy Scripture. In addition to our two Sunday worship services, we offer Sunday School and Bible Study for all ages between services at 9:45. Our parish is very easy to find -- click here if you need directions.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Services follow the liturgy of the Lutheran Service Book. We sing hymns, both old and new, led by a pipe-organ. The Word of the Lord will be preached focused on the Law (shows our sin, and our need for a savior) and the Gospel (the salvation found through Jesus Christ's death and resurrection). Holy Communion is often practiced. We practice close communion. More information can be found on our website.

What is the community like?
We are a community of long-time members whose families have been here for many generations and brand new members. We have an active choir, men's group, women's group, youth ministries, children's ministry and adult education.

What if I'm not a Christian?
You are welcome to come and experience God's love and forgiveness found in the Jesus Christ with us.
