What to Expect

What are services like?
The purpose of worship is to come into the presence of God to receive His gifts, and to respond with praise and thanksgiving. We receive the gift of life throught he good news of Jesus love and forgiveness. This love and forgiveness is delivered through the teaching and the two sacraments of Baptisma nd the Lord's Supper. This is Florida! Formal and informal attire are both appropriate at any of our worship services. Come and be welcome! Location and Parking 4450 Harden Boulevard, Lakeland, Florida 33813 We have a spacious parking lot directly in front of the church and additional parking to the right of the church/school. Nursery At St. Paul Lutheran Church, we offer nursery care during both church services to ensure a welcoming and comfortable experience for families. Children's Church During the Sermon, children are invited to participate in Children's Church. We have two age groups: Preschool - 1st Grade and 2nd Grade - 4th Grade. Trained Adult Volunteers give a short presentation and have an activity that is age appropriate. Children are brought back into the Sanctuary after the sermon is finished.

What is the community like?
All Christians are to show Christ-like love for others. Caring is done best in the context of strong relationships. We all long to be loved and to love; to serve and be served. We are to carry one another’s burdens and share each other’s joys. We are about supporting, visiting, and connecting with others throughout life’s journey.
