Rivertree Community Church
About Us
Rivertree Community Church is a church plant in downtown Jackson, MI. Started in 2007, out of a desire to connect with people who weren’t being reached by more traditional church settings, Rivertree began life in the basement of a local family and grew to our current location at the Jackson YMCA. We desire to become people who Love Recklessly, Live Passionately and Serve Selflessly.
At Rivertree we believe in being actively actively involved in our community. As such we partner with many organizations such as Partnership Park, the Hot Air Jubilee, the Together We Can Make a Difference Home, as well as the YMCA. We also believe in being actively involved in our world, sending mission teams regularly to locations such as West Virginia, Jamaica, Haiti, and Costa Rica.

Leadership
Andy Merritt
A pastor for 12 years, Andy has a heart to see faith in God impact lives. He believes that our relationships with God should change how we live. Married to a wonderful wife Janelle they have three kids. Andy is a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University with degrees in Christian Ministries and Biblical Literature. He is the author of two books, Eden (a novel) and Completely Reckless. Andy is active in the Jackson community, and is currently the Vice-Chair for the Jackson Hot Air Jubilee, as well as an active participant in Partnership Park.Location & Directions
