The Assembly

About Us
Core Value Statement
We at The Assembly believe God has called us together to impact the city of Jackson by His Spirit for His glory and we declare the following values to be of the highest importance to our mission:
Demonstrating the Kingdom of God It is God’s will for His heavenly kingdom to be demonstrated in power on the earth now through healing the sick, mending the broken-hearted, setting the captives free and restoring the lost.
Declaring the Gospel
We are committed to sharing the good news of the restoring power of God’s unfailing love for us through the triumph of His son Jesus, who by dying for us saved us from death and now lives in us through faith in His name.
Experiencing God through Worship
We passionately pursue God’s presence in worship as we acknowledge His life-changing power.
Praying with Power
When God’s people pray, miracles happen, and lives and circumstances are changed.
Creating a Supportive Community
We believe the church should be a safe and open place where people can build healthy relationships, ask questions, wrestle with truth and mature as believers.
Cultivating Honor
We acknowledge our responsibility to honor one another in love and humility recognizing and stirring up the supernatural gifts and purposes God has placed in each of us.
Living by Giving
God has blessed us with all abundance and made the resources of heaven available to His children. Out of that abundance we give back to His kingdom with liberality and thanksgiving.
Reaching the Lost
We are called to touch lives both here in Jackson and throughout the world by sharing the good news of the gospel and ministering to the unsaved.
VISION STATEMENT
We envision a church that declares and manifests God’s kingdom here on earth where every believer is a minister of reconciliation for Jesus Christ living out that mission and impacting the lives of everyone they meet.
We envision a church that demonstrates and releases the kingdom of God both in word and in power in such a way that the miraculous is expected and normal; a body that declares the gospel with a powerful message of forgiveness and transformation, of empowering and overcoming. We see a church that operates in the full expression of the five-fold ministry and set our intention to cultivate and make room for the apostolic, prophetic, evangelistic, pastoral and teaching giftings.
We envision a place of healing, restoration and wholeness, of fruitfulness, of growth and maturity, and of sending and being sent; an atmosphere of peace and freedom, of fervent, heartfelt worship and prayer where God’s glory and presence is reflected in and among us.
We see a church reaching across cultural and denominational boundaries to minister the radical love of God to a fallen world. We see every believer as a minister before the Lord, living with God’s kingdom on display in every sphere of influence. We envision a day when the tide of God’s kingdom overtakes this area through each one of us.
