Who We Are
At River Hills, we feel that it’s our responsibility to “clear the way” for you to come to church. We want you to be able to experience the great music, encouraging messages, friendly people, enjoyable atmosphere, and exciting community that are a part of River Hills. And we know that your first time at any church brings up some questions. How do I get there… what should I wear… what’s available for my kids… what should I expect in church? For FAQ, click here.
What are people saying about River Hills? Here are a few comments I continually hear from people when they visit the River. Check it out.
“It’s a different church. Everyone was friendlier than I thought they’d be.”
Here at River Hills, we’ll make sure the first face you see when you approach the church is a smiling face. Whether you need childcare or are looking for a place for your teens, someone will be nearby to help you get where you need to go. There’s a lot of love in this place.
“The message helped me with what I was facing that week.”
You’ll enjoy upbeat music and practical, biblical messages that help you deal with real-life issues. We’ll even give you a helpful outline to follow along and put the bible passages up on the big screen. We teach the bible. No irrelevant teaching is our commitment to you. What you learn on the weekend, you’ll be able to use during the week. We want to help you connect with the personal hope and practical help that God can give us.
“I can wear what’s comfortable!”
We’re more concerned with meeting your real-life needs than with what you wear. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed. So, dress casually and you’ll fit right in. Chances are you’ll find me wearing jeans and, sometimes, no socks! And you can take your coffee right to your seat.
“I loved the programs for my kids!”
We know that as a parent you need be sure that your children are in a SAFE learning environment. And we know that your children are looking for a FUN place to learn about God. We’ve worked hard to make sure that both of these goals are reached. You’ll see that in the spaces the children and students meet, and even more in the volunteers who work with your kids.
“I never knew church could be so fun and challenging at the same time. I love this church.”
We all want and need a relationship with God that is personal, genuine and life changing. At River Hills people are experiencing God in a deep, profound way. We are committed to helping you enjoy the quality life that God provides now and forever.
