What are services like?
At our Sunday morning gatherings, you will find friendly hospitality, contemporary acoustic worship, and biblical teaching about the abundant life that Jesus offers. At ReNew Community, we think that pursuing and worshiping God is a family event. From newborns to grandparents and everyone in between! You’ll see kids in our church service, and chances are you might hear them too. It’s okay–we like it that way! Our desire is to come alongside parents in the spiritual formation of their youth. We want to provide opportunities for families to be empowered, equipped, and encouraged as they take charge of family faith on Sunday morning and all week long. You are welcome to keep your little ones with you for the church service. We also provide some options for younger ones.

What is the community like?
ReNew Community is a place to belong. We are an intergenerational church of broken, imperfect people that long to see God’s redeeming love “ReNew” the community of Ames. We exist for the overall community, not just ourselves. This means we won’t just sit in church; we will get out and serve others.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We believe in a God whose love is so much bigger than our biggest doubts, our worst mistakes, and our constant weaknesses. This isn’t a place where you have to get cleaned up before you come. We strive to be a place that is safe for anyone at any stage of life.
