CHURCH OF CHRIST Dear Brother in Christ Greetings to all the saints in Christ Jesus in the church of christ, including you, elders, deacons and preacher from all of us here at Penumarru, India. We hope that everything is going well with you all brethren and you enjoy every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. We give our thanks to God because He has given us a great opportunity to correspond and fellowship with you dear brethren in Christ Jesus. Brother, I have received your e-mail address from your website. We came to understand that you brethren are working with love and faithfully for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We know that you are godly people, devoted yourselves to the Lord and His work. We appreciate you brethren so much for your faithfulness, love and zeal for the Lord’s work. And we know also that you brethren are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge and diligent in His service. And you believers are mission minded-church embracing Jesus’ call to take the gospel into the parts of the world, and you are strong and passionate. We express our hearty gratitude from the bottom of our hearts to all our brothers and sisters in the church of Christ, for your love and commitment to evangelizing people in entire world. We continue our prayers for you all and all your mission efforts. My brief particulars: Brethren, I would like to introduce myself to you with your kind permission. I was baptized and became a member of the church of Christ in August 16, 1980. I was converted from Hindu background in 1980. My name is A. Ramarao (Arambaka Ramarao), 52 years, and preaches the God's word for the church of Christ at Penumarru and Bhattiprolu in Bapatla District, AP, India. My wife name is Nirmal Mary, 48 years. We have four children, two children are married. My eldest son is also in the Lord’s service at Battiprolu. After my conversion I have studied Bible at Rajahmundry Bible School for two years (1984-1985). Then I came to Penumarru in Andhra Pradesh in 1986 and started preaching the gospel of Christ. Many people were obedient to the faith and added to the Lord’s church. The church was strengthened in the faith and increased in number. We serve the church of Christ for 38 years. We thank God so much because He protects and comforts us in all our troubles and persecutions. We know He is the Father of mercies and God of all comfort. CHURCH OF CHRIST, PENUMARRU: God has blessed our efforts and church was begun in Penumarru according to His abundant grace. Now the strength of the church is 38 members. We thank God so much for His love and great help. EVANGELISM IN OTHER PLACES: At the same time, we have also visited several places in our States Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, holding Bible classes and gospel meetings, teaching and preaching the God’s word, strengthening our brothers in the faith, encouraging and helping them to continue their service to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Some of our brothers here are also participating in local mission work actively and serving the gospel. These brothers did not receive any support from our brotherhood in USA or India. The church gives little help for their evangelism and family bread. They are poor but they are doing the Lord’s work faithfully and sincerely. We hold Bible classes for preachers every week in Penumarru, Bhattiprolu and Tenali in Guntur District. We have found 25 to 30 men will attend the classes. I am teaching now the books of the New Testament. Now I am teaching the gospel of Mark. We give also some printed Bible materials for our brothers. They were continually attending the classes and studying God’s word with good interest. Brothers are working hard with enthusiastically and energetically. Brother, we need your spiritual support and prayers. I also attend the Bible classes for preachers in other places when the church invites me. At that time I will teach some historical and doctrinal lessons. Sometimes, I teach about books of the Old and New Testament according to their interest. Our brothers are continually encouraging and strengthening through these Bible classes. The churches are strengthening in the faith and increasing in number. Our Services: 1). Youth ministry and providing opportunities to serve. 2). Bible studies with families and individuals. 3). Tracts, Bible literature and Bibles distribution (in Telugu language). 4). Hold Bible classes and gospel meetings where church invites. 5). Train up our brothers and see that they may become efficient preachers to spread the gospel. 6). Strengthening the churches. 7). Helping for the needy. We believe that you brethren know about our country and population. India is one of the biggest countries in the world. We see the population, poverty and pollution are here. Seventy percent people are living under poverty line. Seventy percent people depend upon their labor and daily wages. The members of the church here are also poor financially, they are laborers, but they are faithful and continually growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We always encourage and strengthen our brethren to continue their faith in the Lord. I teach always the word which Paul said to Christians at Colossae, “Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.” Col 1:28. We desire much to reach many places with the gospel and bring more people unto our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We want also to educate our brothers in His wisdom and train up them to be an active in the mission field and save souls for the Lord. We desire also to see the church of Christ in every village and town. We want also that every church should follow the teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ and function as His spiritual body, the church. And we strive always to preach and teach the word of God, as Paul said, “in season and out of season.” Our people are humble, kind, hospitable and strive always to know the TRUTH and obey His word. Brethren, if you encourage and support us then we can do much more good work for the Lord. We know also your kind support enable us to furnish the needs of the congregations and traveling to many places to preach the gospel, and help the brethren here. Truly, your little support will be a big and great help for us. Brother, we need your fellowship, encouragement and support for the good work in India. Brethren, we need your kind support for the needs of the churches, evangelism, printing some Bible tracts and literature in Telugu, transportation and helping our brothers (preachers). We request you all brethren please extend your love and favor for us that we may work and fellowship with you in order to spread the cause of Christ in India. We hope that you brethren can consider and support much than we expect for the gospel. Brethren, we know that you are full of goodness and filled with all knowledge. And we trust also that you brethren are very kind, compassionate, and gracious and love the Lord’s work and His people on the globe. We learned also that you brethren strive always to spread the glorious gospel of Christ in your respected country and other countries also. We need your spiritual support and prayers for the evangelism in India. We know your love and your efforts enable us to do more work for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
