RiverOaks Presbyterian Church has grown through the regular proclamation of one central message - Sin has left you more broken than you ever feared, and God has loved you more than you would ever have hoped.

Every problem a Christian faces comes from a failure to understand or apply that message correctly. We exist to reach people for Christ and to equip them to serve. To accomplish that goal, we encourage everyone to find and love a church that preaches the Gospel of Jesus Christ clearly.

What to Expect

What are services like?
We believe that God meets us in worship in distinct ways that He doesn't in any other circumstance. We believe that worship should not be a conduit to get people into community groups and discipleship groups; rather, we believe that worship is an extremely valuable thing in and of itself. True worship provides real life change. Our worship is casual, yet liturgical; the music is contemporary, yet filled with ancient and modern hymns; the sacraments are taken seriously, and the Lord's Table is celebrated almost every Sunday. Pastor Ricky teaches through passages of scripture and books of the Bible, and the exposition of God's Word is a vital part of the worship service.

What is the community like?
We believe that living life together MATTERS. This is why we have several community groups that get together for times of spiritual and social refreshment. You will find that fellowship groups at RiverOaks are more like parties, and the different groups are diverse. Fellowship groups meet at different times during the week.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Everyone needs to hear the Gospel, from those who have been through a thousand Sunday services to the person who has never been to church in their life. We welcome everyone as a friend, regardless of whether or not they have come to know Christ yet. Our services powerful and profound, yet accessible to everyone; they are developed with both the Christian and non-Christian in mind, the religious and the irreligious, the learned and the unschooled.
