We (Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod) still believe that God's word is entirely true and relevant for us even today. We are still willing to call a thing what it is. Sin is sin, and God hates it. However, he loves the world so much that he sent his son, Jesus, to die for all sins and redeem the world. No sin is worse than another, and all of us are guilty, needing daily forgiveness. We come before him confessing our sins and thanking him for his mercy. Salvation was won for all people by Jesus on the cross, but do you believe that this was done for you? I hope so. I'd like to see you in heaven.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Services are led by the pastor with some back and forth responses from the congregation. Three lessons from scripture are read, and the pastor preaches on one of them. There's a children's message and song each week and communion every first and third Sunday. Most of the hymns are traditional a d led by the organ with a contemporary song thrown in here and there. Non-communion services tend to last one hour.

What is the community like?
Members are older and very welcoming with more and more young people coming to visit and eventually joining.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Please come. I would love your feedback and would enjoy talking to you. I, the pastor, wasn't always a Christian.
