Leadership
C. Douglas Akers
Rev. C. Douglas Akers was born in Radford, Virginia. He grew up in Pulaski and Roanoke, where he graduated from Jefferson High School in 1974. He received a B.A. in Religion and philosophy from Methodist College (Fayetteville, N.C.) inn 1978. He received an M. Div. from Wesley Theological Seminary (Washington D.C.) in 1981 and has served churches in the Virginia Conference for 27 years. He and his wife, Linda Toler Marsh, have one child, Drew.Location & Directions
