Our Services

What are services like?
We are an informal congregation. Sermons are Bible based, seeking to bring ancient texts to a contemporary understanding. Our youngest members collect the offering and lead singing. This enables them to be full participants in the weekly life of our church.

What is the community like?
The Mission of the Princeton United Methodist Church is to build Christ-centered community though Service, Stewardship, Teaching and Mentoring, and Outreach. By Service, we mean mission, community engagement, and visitation. By Stewardship, we mean caring for God’s children, preserving God’s natural resources, and a passion for God’s Word. By Teaching and Mentoring, we mean, empowering one another through study and the sharing of our lives. And by Outreach, we mean reconnecting people face to face in a Facebook world.

What if I'm not a Christian?
You are welcome here. If you are seeking to know more about beginning a relationship with Jesus Christ, you will find a home here. Someone will mentor you and help you to grow in your faith.

Jada Hodgson

Jada Hodgson

"Doctor J" is a joke we share in the church. Jada is a Certified Lay Minister and therefore not able to use the traditional titles of authority within the church. She does have a law degree so, we dubbed her "Dr. J." Jada is a part time pastor. When not engaged with the church, she practices Elder Law in another county. Jada shares the Word through preaching, using humor and personal stories to bring the message home. She leads Bible studies, and we try to spend at least half the year in these studies.
