Our Services

What are services like?
Services follow a fairly traditional format of prayers, songs, readings from the Bible and a sermon. We use a blend of traditional and contemporary music played on a variety of musical instruments. The service includes a time for prayer requests and community prayer.

What is the community like?
We are in a diverse neighborhood in Southeast Wichita. The congregation is mostly white, but we regularly welcome folks from African-American, Hispanic and Asian backgrounds. We come from a variety of circumstances, orientations and identities. Some people dress in "Sunday best" - others wear jeans and tee shirts. ALL ARE WELCOME!

What if I'm not a Christian?
That's OK! We believe that questions and doubts can be an important part of our faith journey. It is OK to come for the community and the mission and figure out what you believe along the way.
