St. Paul Parish / Newman Center
Serving the spiritual, intellectual and social needs of WSU since 1949.

About Us
As Catholic Christians we strive to always put God at the center of our life. As a university parish and Catholic Student Center, we work to provide students, faculty, and permanent parishioners with the resources and guidance of the Catholic Church in an increasingly complex world. By developing and maintaining strong Catholic values on campus, we want to make it possible for all individuals to have the opportunity to recognize and nurture the most important part of their life-long learning journey: coming to know Christ.
From this knowledge, we come together as a community of faith to share all the different dimensions of human life: social, intellectual, spiritual, emotional, and physical. We are called to put God first in our daily life by loving Him with our whole heart, mind, and soul and to love our neighbor as ourself. A concrete expression of this love is to put our time, talent, and treasure in God's service.
