What are services like?
Church life is centered in Sunday worship. We come together to be with God and with one another - experience the Good News of grace and love, healing and hope in Jesus Christ. Then as we leave this time set apart, we are encouraged to give out the Good News at all the times in our lives. Our style of worship on Sunday morning is traditional. Once a month, on a Sunday evening, we also have a contemporary worship service. Whatever the form of worship or the style of music, we seek to encounter the Living God and to hear God's voice anew.

What is the community like?
We have 1100 members including singles, families and seniors who come from a variety of denominations and live in Piedmont and the surrounding area. No matter from where or why you attend, the atmosphere is always infused with warmth and good feeling. True to the founding creed, PCC liturgy and preaching remain open and inclusive, and centered in Christ. We acknowledge that there are many paths to spiritual and ethical truths. We are very mission-focused, with sister church relationships in both Africa an din East Oakland. We also have a dynamic youth ministry.

What if I'm not a Christian?
You are welcome at our church if you are not a Christian. You can take part in any activity in the church. Communion is open to all who are open to having a relationship with Jesus Christ. We have many congregants who are active yet have never officially "joined" the church community.
