Park Congregational Church is a diverse church family called to a common purpose of transformation through the example and teachings of Jesus Christ. We seek to follow in the way of Jesus, and to heed the commandments to love God with all our heart, and to love our neighbor as ourselves. We are affiliated with the United Church of Christ denomination. No matter who you are, no matter where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome at Park Church!

What to Expect

What are services like?
We are serious about our faith, but not overly formal, and we believe there is room for a variety of opinions about faith, the Bible, and spirituality. Music is important to us here at Park Church, so expect to sing a lot and listen to beautiful music by our choir, organist, bell choir, and occasional guests. There is always a special message for children as well as Sunday School and childcare for the little ones. We celebrate communion on the first Sunday of every month—which is open to everyone regardless of their faith background. We try to be as welcoming as possible, so odds are, someone will say hello to you and invite you to join us for coffee hour after the service. We hope that you will!

What is the community like?
We are a diverse community of old and young, traditional and progressive, from many different backgrounds. Some of us are life-long congregationalists, many of us come from other traditions such as Baptist, Catholic, Methodist, Lutheran, and even non-denominational. We value the diverse experiences and beliefs of our community, and seek to be welcoming and inclusive of all.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We like to say "whoever you are, wherever you are on your journey, you are welcome at Park Church", and we mean in! Even if you are not a Christian, you are welcome to join us and experience worship with us. Or feel free to join us for some of our community service projects!
