What is the community like?
Our Lady of Guadalupe Church and School is nestled in the hills of Hermosa Beach and shines in the light of Christ for the surrounding South Bay community. With the direction of the Franciscan Friars, this quaint and friendly church welcomes all to encounter Jesus in a deep, life-changing way, then go beyond our walls to make the kingdom of Jesus known. Mass is available every day to celebrate the Eucharist and to provide healing in various forms. There are several ministries and connect groups to join for fellowship and support. The community is blessed with many volunteers and are always looking for more who wish to share their Time, Talents, or Treasures. Highlights include Sunrise Mass on the Beach on Easter morning and the annual OLG Fiesta with carnival foods and games - bringing everyone together with joy, music and laughter.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Non-Christians are always invited to share in the liturgies and to stop by the office for more information. During communion, come forward to receive a blessing by crossing your arms over your chest. To learn more about Catholicism, OLG offers adult classes to explore the faith and help prepare those who want to become Catholic.
