Origins is a community of Christ followers committed to to the gospel of Jesus. We are compelled to serve the world, love people, and be vessels of hope. No matter where you are in your spiritual journey, we welcome all people. Whether you are simply investigating Jesus or you have been a Christ follower for a long period of time, we invite to join us as we seek God together.

Our name Origins indicates where we find our starting point and foundation for life. We believe that life and wholeness can only be found in Jesus. Within His teachings and life, we can find hope, meaning, and purpose. Jesus’ life sets the foundation for our existence and through him we can live as God intended us to live.

What to Expect

What are services like?
We know going to church for the first time could create some anxiety. So to help keep that at a minimum, here is a quick summary of what you can expect at Origins: People that show up prior to a gathering spend time greeting one another and staking out a seat. The worship service lasts for approximately an hour and fifteen minutes. It usually begins with music, a prayer or reading from the Bible. A live band leads us in song. The service will continue with a few announcements about upcoming events. The message is from the Bible. It is designed to help us understand God, who we are, and the world in which we live. After service people often spend ten to thirty minutes talking with one another, and then frequently go to lunch in groups.

What is the community like?
We desire to live out our faith everyday. To further encourage us we have mid-week Missional Communities. These communities are a great way to get to know others, process biblical knowledge, and impact our local community.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We welcome everyone - no matter where you are in your spiritual journey.
